Dear Spelman faculty, staff and students,

Unfortunately, "Our Community Healthcare System," the company managing AUC pre-arrival PCR testing is experiencing challenges with Federal Express delivery of tests due to the impacts of COVID-19.

Considering these challenges, here is important guidance that will be helpful to you:

- For the required pre-arrival PCR testing, we will allow you to get a PCR test from an outside source: i.e., pharmacy, clinic, medical provider, etc.

- Be sure to upload your test results to Etrieve on the Myspelman portal
If your pre-arrival PCR test result is positive or you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, do not return to campus. You are instructed to isolate at home and seek medical care.

For those who have already received, or will utilize the PCR saliva test, we will provide updates regarding test delivery and return for processing, in addition to guidance on how to use the getcovidsafe.com website in a forthcoming email.
