Spelman community,

As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, we remain committed to doing all we can to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and faculty. That said, we have made important updates to our visitor protocols effective immediately.

For the safety of our campus community, Spelman College requires all guests to adhere to our new visitor protocols for spring 2022. Visitors are guests who are not part of Spelman or the Atlanta University Center Consortium institution’s faculty, staff, or student population. Regardless of visit type, the College strongly encourages all guests to be fully vaccinated for personal safety.

To be approved for campus entry, a visitor is required to complete the Guest Access Request Form.

Using the Guest Access Request Form, guests attending a meeting or small event are required to submit proof of a negative PCR test 5 days prior to entry. (No event-day rapid testing will be required).

Using the Guest Access Request Form, guests attending a large event (over 500 people) will be required to submit proof of a negative PCR test and must also submit proof of vaccination 5 days prior to entry. (No event-day rapid testing will be required).

Instructions for completing the Guest Access Request Form:

  • Sign in with a Google account email and password by clicking on the Google (G) logo. You must have a Google (Gmail) account to use this form. If you do not have one, you must create one before proceeding.
  • Once you are signed in, click on "Forms" and under the "General" Tab, click on "Guest Campus Access Request".
  • Select submission type to select the type of documentation you are submitting.
  • Enter your full name.
  • Enter your phone number.
  • Enter your Gmail e-mail address.
  • Select Event/Visit date.
  • Select Event/Visit type or click "Other" to enter your own description.
  • Review and acknowledge all Guest Access Health and Safety Guidance.
  • Click the attachment logo and upload your documentation (acceptable file types: PDF, JPEG, or PNG)
  • Click "Submit".

The submitted Guest Access Request Form will be reviewed and if approved, you will receive an email from etrieve@spelman.edu of your approved clearance which you will present for entry. If your request is denied, you will receive an email notification of denied entry. For health and safety reasons, no exceptions will be given if a request is denied.

Visitors should contact the specific event host or unit/department they wish to visit for event-related questions. The host department may contact the Office of COVID-19 Operations at X5407 for assistance.
